Hmm not so sure about this idea... nice in theory but hellishly materialistic, (but in a good way?)
here goes...
Most books I want/planned to get myself, are in a box with my name on it, in Fantastic Planet bookstore, on shafto lane. This was ordered/put together when i thought i was getting my pension and a big back payment! some joke. Same goes for White dwarf Bookshop but only about 2 or 3 books in a pile.
Other books: Raymond E Feist's authors preferred edition of Magician published in TWO books with masses of extra story the editors originally made him cut out!!! (paperbacks)

Wow! here goes.... stepping into the great unknown of L.J. !!
So I thought I'd start with something nice for every one...
BE WELCOME! to the MASTERS and SLAVES, BIRTHDAY PARTY! Alicia (myladypiper) Sarah (dormant_dragon) JP (Japester) Kitty (Riverstar) and Cameron (Chromatica) are sharing one (hopefully)-big get together on Sat Oct 14th at the half-bake house, ver public transport friendly for those who remain car-less! Though a small amount will be provided please BYO Grog and/or bring a plate to share. Come in costume (or at least an attempt) or risk being captured/collared at the door and sold later! Don't say I didn't warn you!! There will be a prize for the best costume, of course, in the best tradition of costume parties with dogey themes. Come one, come all!
Why b-day? I haven't had a birthday since my 18th, and thought it high time. (DOB 1982) My other reason, on a somewhat more icky note, is that I did not expect to live to see this birthday. Twice in the last 12 months I have been given limited time to live, by -urrrg- Doctors; once last year with a 6 month warning, and once this year with an unbelieveable 4 weeks. Needless to say I'm still alive! Despite the EXTRA-large dose of Fibro-Myalgia. Happily my medication is not affected by copious amounts of alcohol- and i plan to test that useful fact to the hilt and invite everyone i know to come and help! |
